CARBON SRS

Sidi has specialized in cycling footwear since the 1970s. That's a wealth of experience and research to pour into the Shot Carbon Road shoe. Sidi's flagship road shoe is the weapon of choice for many in the pro peloton including three-time Tour de France champion, Chris Froome. Riders who want a lightweight, aerodynamic, and stiff road shoe choose the Shot Carbon to ensure they perform at the highest level.

The ADJUSTABLE HEEL RETENTION DEVICE reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves the fit by closing the back of the shoe securely around the rider’s heel. The heel retention device tightens the top of the heel cup so that the heel doesn’t slide out during steep climbs or sprints. Each side of the heel can be adjusted independently, for a perfect fit. For a custom adjustment turn the screw towards the + sign to tighten the heel retention device and towards the – sign to open it. Light weight, easy to use, and replaceable.

For additional security while pedaling, the new adjustable heel device is provided with reflex inserts for more visibility in dark conditions.

The VENT CARBON SOLE features a light and replaceable heelpad to improve walkability in polyurethane and a replaceable integrated toe pad/vent cover.  The key benefits of the VENT CARBON SOLE are not only superior power transfer, because of its light weight and stiffness,  but also warm weather comfort.  The VENT CARBON SOLE is designed with an integrated vent and air channels for heat dissipation and air flow.  The vent can be opened or closed for 4-season comfort. The VENT CARBON SOLE is handmade exclusively of  carbon fiber in a weave pattern oriented at opposing angles that maximize stiffness while allowing for a small degree of controlled flex in the toe area. This carefully designed flex biomechanically relieves stress on the plantar tendon and helps promote circulation.  The VENT CARBON SOLE features a standard 3-hole drilling pattern, printed 10 mm lateral and fore/aft cleat alignment scale as well as the Look Memory Eyelet® for easy cleat alignment and replacement.  For triathlon, the vent also serves as a water drain, dramatically improving foot comfort after a wet transition.

Sidi sizing guide

*Customers switching to Sidi Shoes or from Sidi;s more than 5 years old, may not wear the same size. All Sidi's, except for winter shoes, are built on the same last, but differences in patterns and materials so keep this in mind when switching between Sidi models. Every Sidi Shoe (except triathlon models) from 2002 onwards is stamped with its size and last type (and M indicates Mega or W indicates women's), Usually on the tongue.

Standard Width is considered as a D width

Mega = EE shoe fit 4mm of extra space across the ball of the foot. If you have high-volume orthotics you may feel more comfortable in a mega shoe.

Women fits - "Women specific" shoes are a narrower and smaller version of the regular fit option. The heel and ankle areas have also been narrowed.

How do I know if its a good fit?
Some people have narrow heels, if you know this to be true we recommend getting a shoe with a heel retention device. This will allow the heel to be narrowed.

Is it too small? If you stand up with your shoes on and your toes are touching the front, your shoe is small. You don't want any toes touching the front of the shoe, this will create hot or numb toes on long rides. You want to be able to wiggle your toes a bit, but not feel like they are "sloshing around"

Tip* Try on your new Sidi Shoes with the cycling socks you normally wear

Follow the procedure below to ensure that you choose the right size.

MEASURE YOUR FOOT BY FOLLOWING THESE STEPS: :

  1. Put a sheet of paper on the floor with the short side against the wall.
  2. Put the sole of your bare foot on it with the heel pressing against the wall
  3. Mark the point in front of the tip of your longest toe on the sheet of paper.
  4. Measure the distance between the margin of the sheet of paper where you placed your heel and the point where you made the mark. Always round up the measurement to the next millimetre.

If the shoe doesn't fit? Don't worry, we offer a 1 free resize policy to make sure you are very comfortable on your bike
